Ian Wright: Kane s contract renewal in 2018 was a big mistake, I was looking forward to him going to Manchester City

Premier League legend Ian Wright recently talked about Kane's topic. He was looking forward to seeing Kane wear Manchester City jersey.

Ian Wright said: "I thought of Kane's deal. What would happen if he went to Manchester City? I was very excited about it and thought it would happen. But Kane signed a new contract before the 2018 World Cup, which in my opinion was a huge mistake and it was really crazy."

In June 2018, Kane renewed his contract with Tottenham until the summer of 2024. In the summer window of 2021, Manchester City once offered Spurs 100 million pounds to buy Kane. In August 2023, Bayern signed Kane with a transfer fee of 95 million euros.
