Joe Cole: I will try to be a coach in the future, but only if I have to be able to control the overall situation
Recently, former England international Joe Cole expressed his interest in trying to become a head coach in an exclusive interview with talkSPORT, but only if he can control the overall situation.
Joe Cole, unlike many retired players, chose to become a football commentator and became a key member of the TNT sports team. Although he saw that Lampard and others had already begun their coaching careers, Cole enjoyed the fun of analyzing the game more.
When asked if I was considering becoming a head coach in the future, he said: "Of course, it's absolutely possible, I've been doing some coaching work. Last year I coached young players at Brentford and kept my focus on football. When everything stabilizes, I'll start over."
"This is one of the things I want to try in the future, and while it's hard, I won't accept a job that I don't think is suitable for me. There are a lot of good job opportunities, but you want to find a job that will give you a chance to do well."
Cole further explained that he hopes to be able to work in a club without much interference: "I won't submit my resume to Real Madrid anytime soon , you need to start somewhere, and there are many different ways to achieve it, it's a crazy world. "
"My friends coach around the world, and they always feel that they are only four or five games away from the get out of class. There are interventions from club owners and football directors, which will affect your control on the court."
"If I'm going to do this job, I hope to have a chance to have a complete control of the tactics and build a good relationship with the club owners so that I can have time to implement the plan. If all these conditions are met, I will do it tomorrow. But I don't know if the possibility of this kind of waiting exists."
