According to well-known reporter Romano, Newcastle negotiated to introduce Southampton goalkeeper Ramsdale.

Romano pointed out that due to the failure to sign Burnley goalkeeper Trafford, Newcastle switched to Ramsdale's transfer and has started related negotiations, and Ramsdale is eager to join Newcastle.
