When I came across a stray cat sleeping on a shelf while visiting a store, my mother Nuan decided to adopt her.
According to a report by TheDodo, last month, an American netizen, Annie Rahe, went to a Wal-Mart hypermarket to buy some daily necessities. Unexpectedly, when she pushed her shopping cart into the Christmas decorations section, she saw a kitten sleeping in the gap of the shelf. There was no owner or mother cat beside her, which made Annie a little confused. After asking the store employees, Annie learned that the kitten was abandoned in the parking lot. In order to find a sheltered place, it kept sneaking into the store and hiding in pallets or shelves. Every day, she was afraid that she would be driven away again.

After listening to the kitten’s story, Annie immediately decided to abandon her shopping cart and ran to the pet supplies area to buy some cat food. When the hungry kitten saw the can, she immediately wolfed it down and waited for it. After eating, Annie put it in a cardboard box and prepared to take it home to take care of it. However, due to lack of trust in humans, the kitten climbed out when Annie was not paying attention and ran to hide in the store. After nearly an hour, Annie successfully calmed it down.

Annie not only bought daily necessities that day, but also brought home an extra kitten and many cat supplies. The kitten was subsequently named "Wally". It quickly adapted to its new home and fell asleep peacefully on the first night. It also showed its lively side. No matter where Annie went, it would follow her! Anne said with a smile, "He is a happy child. Every time I walk into the room, he immediately purrs. And because he is often at my feet, I have to be careful when walking."
When Wally is vaccinated, he will be able to meet other cats and dogs in the home. I believe the home will become more lively by then! Annie never thought that she would adopt a kitten from a Wal-Mart hypermarket. What a wonderful fate~
