The zookeeper beat the panda Nuannuan with a bamboo pole. The park responded: He will never be allowed to raise giant pandas.
Recently, in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the giant panda Nuannuan was slapped with a bamboo pole by her keepers to encourage her to eat bamboo shoots during her off-duty hours. The tourists nearby laughed and had fun the whole time, sparking heated discussions.

On April 17, Ziqing Lake Wildlife World issued an apology letter stating: The breeder involved immediately stopped working and will never be allowed to raise giant pandas in our park; at the same time, the corresponding supervisor will be given a warning.

In the future, the supervision and management of breeders will be more strictly strengthened to prevent such incidents from happening again. The video was taken by a tourist, not a park employee. I hope everyone will treat it rationally.
