Trump AI blueprint suggests chip location certification, supported by national conference members

The Trump administration, the US President, suggested implementing export control measures certified by advanced artificial intelligence (AI) chip locations, which should be supported by two members of the National Assembly.

Reuters reported that this is a circle of the Trump administration’s release of AI blue maps today. The purpose of this blue map is to increase the export of AI software hardware equipment to US allies, and to implement broader US environmental laws to accelerate the construction of AI data centers.

However, this AI blueprint also points out that the United States should continue to ban advanced AI chips made by companies such as NVIDIA (Nvidia), Ultramicro (AMD), and other foreign counterparts. It also mentioned that the US government should "set up the existing latest advanced AI chip location certification function to ensure that the chip does not fall into a country with doubts."

This suggestion was supported by two national congressmen who had previously proposed the chip after-sales position certification bill, and they were worried about advanced AI chips flowing into countries such as China that prohibit exports.

As for important details such as the Debate Bill and the Trump administration's suggestions, how to implement it and how much cost will be increased, it remains to be further studied.
